The commencement of the Sayfiye Project was announced at a press conference on April 18, 2004.

The Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Rönesans Holding Ipek Ilıcak said, “We have incorporated Rönesans’s many years’ of experience in real estate into the residential sector and thus established Rönesans Housing. The total value of our housing projects which are completed and underway, with our portfolio in Russia, has reached 1.5 billion dollars”. According to Ipek Ilıcak, the company has previously established a housing project in Ankara and is going to present 550 apartments for sale in the district of Maltepe in Istanbul by the end of the year. Rönesans Holding is also planning to put two separate projects into operation in 2015 together with its partners – theDoğan Group and Tekfen. The projects are located in Izmir (Konak and Turan districts).

Ipek Ilıcak emphasized that Rönesans Holding’s total assets increased by 76% as of December 31, 2013, in comparison with the previous year, and reached 12 billion Turkish liras, while its consolidated turnover amounted to 4.5 billion Turkish liras with an increase of 73%. In 2013, Rönesans Construction, the leading company of Rönesans Holding, was ranked 64th on the ENR Top 250 International Contractors List.
