Rönesans Gayrimenkul Yatırım A.Ş, which operates within Rönesans Holding, has launched its new mall project – the Piazza shopping mall in the city of Samsun, Turkey. A spectacular opening ceremony was held on March 28, 2013.

Designed by Tabanlıoğlu Architects, the Piazza shopping mall was built on a 34,000 sq m plot of land located on Atatürk Avenue, which connects downtown Samsun to the airport, and between Ulus and Çarşamba Avenues.With its 140,000 sq m construction area and 63,500 sq m leasable area, the Piazza shopping mall is the largest of its kind in the Black Sea region.

Hosting 160 domestic and foreign brands, the Piazza mall has gathered market leaders in the sector for the first time in Samsun: Media Markt, 5M Migros, Zara, H&M, Decathlon, Cinemaximum, Lacoste, Yargıcı, Starbucks, Big Chef’s, and Cook Shop.

A 164-room five star hotel attached to the Piazza shopping mall will be completed in May 2013 and will provide new accommodation facilities for the area.

The Piazza mall will play a big role in the commercial and social life of both the city of Samsun and the Middle Black Sea region.
