RÖNESANS ON A STEADY RISE IN EUROPE

Continuing organic and inorganic growth, Rönesans Holding acquired 100% stakes in Heitkamp Ingenieur und Kraſtwerksbau GmbH company. Rönesans Holding also acquired the ownership stakes of the Dutch company Ballast Nedam, consolidating its power in Europe and reaching a turnover of nearly one billion euros in a brief amount of time. As a result of these massive acquisitions, Rönesans made a century-old dream come true in Europe by connecting Zurich and Milan with Gotthard Base Tunnel, the world’s longest railway tunnel. The company is about to launch a PPP (Public Private Partnership) project for road and tunnel constructions in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The project is worth approximately one billion euros.

SUCCESS STORY CONTINUES IN RUSSIA AND TURKMENISTAN

The Commonwealth of Independent States is among the most strategic regions for Rönesans where it mostly focuses on infrastructure and superstructure projects. Mega Silk Way, one of the biggest shopping and entertainment centers of the Kazakh capital Astana, was built as part of the EXPO 2017 and opened a few months ago. In Moscow, Russia’s capital, the business world is centered around Moscow City where Federation Tower is built. The construction of the 374m high tower is expected to finish in the last quarter of 2017. Works by Rönesans include a skyscraper project in St. Petersburg, due for completion in 2018. The main tower of the building measures 462 meters, set to become the highest-rising building in Europe when complete. In addition to superstructure projects in Russia, Rönesans Holding builds on its strength with industrial projects run under Rönesans Heavy Industries. The company is beginning to stand out with industrial project investments for the manufacturing of petroleum-based products, predominantly in Russia and Turkmenistan. Rönesans is currently undertaking under harsh weather conditions the Yamal LNG Plant project in the Sabetta Region of Russia which is close to the Arctic where temperatures occasionally drop as low as -50 °C. The company is also building a GTG Project in the Turkmen capital Ashkhabad that will produce gasoline out of natural gas. The project, worth a total of USD 1.5 billion in investment costs, will have the biggest capacity in the world among facilities of its kind.
